Your Success Can Change Someone’s Life
by Meggan Larson
Think of someone that inspires you. It doesn’t necessarily have to be because of their success in weight loss; it can be for any reason. Someone that really inspires me is my life coach Dani Johnson. She grew up on welfare, in a drug-infested house where regular beatings occurred, and she wound up homeless at 21 years old (after getting pregnant and giving the baby up for adoption). How many of you would assume that’s where her story ended?
It isn’t…
She made her first million by the age of 23 and has gone on not only to make millions upon millions of dollars, she’s also transformed the lives of tens of thousands of people, helped those people pay off ludicrous amounts of debt (without increasing their income), and done more for the poor than anyone I know. I’ve done a lot of good things in my life as a direct result of her influence and guess what? You have influence too.
Your friends, family, co-workers, etc. are your centre of influence and you and I both know that they’re watching. Every time you say no to the cake and ice cream, every time you lose another 2lbs, they’re watching and waiting to see if it’s the real deal. They’re waiting to see if it might possibly work for them. Your success can influence them to take action and create THEIR success! I truly believe with every fiber of my being that we were put here on earth to impact and inspire each other. We have a very specific plan and purpose for our lives that literally only we can accomplish. There are people in your life that God has specifically placed there, or will place there, that need to see you succeed in order for them to make the decision to change. Your success is bigger than you!
So next time you think to yourself that there’s no point and you may as well give up, remember who inspired you to make this change and realize that YOU are that person for someone else. Don’t give up, they’re counting on you.
As always I’d love to hear from you so if you have any questions or comments please comment below or email me at Meggan@TheLaundryMoms.com
