Your Recipe For Success
By Meggan Larson
It’s warming up Y’all! Some of you are in full blown summer (jealous!!) and some of you are starting to experience the warmer weather after a long cold winter (aren’t they all?). Summer is my absolute favorite time of year. Being able to go outside without bundling up feels incredible! That being said though, sometimes the winter clothes were covering up a little extra padding, if you know what I mean. So with summer around the corner, it’s definitely time to work on reducing that winter padding.
So here are some of my favorite ways…
Of course with the summer weather, you can now get out and walk more than in the previous frigid months. My family and I go to a chiropractor every week and it’s a good 20-30 minute walk each way. We drive in the winter but now that it’s warm out we can walk again which is a simple way to get some exercise in.
I painted my toenails the other day and then proceeded to do flutter kicks until they were dry. It took me like 5-10 minutes which would normally feel like an eternity when exercising but because I had a purpose behind it I didn’t mind. My legs were on FIRE afterward but my toenails look amazing. I find that when I’m doing something for a reason other than just to exercise that I have way less trouble getting motivated.
I played Wii tennis the other night with my hubby and for the next two days, I could barely lift my arms! I played for a good hour non-stop. When it’s fun I don’t mind it! Maybe you’re the same way.
Tonight we’re going to be sharing some super fabulous recipes to help you slim down for the summer. Drinks, fat bombs, etc. It’s going to be a great time and I’d love to see you there! These recipes (along with my “exercise tips”) will definitely help you slim down. Join our class group here.
