You Lose When You Let Go

You Lose When You Let Go

By Meggan Larson

Letting go can be a real challenge, can’t it? When you’ve been wronged by someone or hurt, it’s tough to let it go and move on. It’s even harder to do when the perpetrator isn’t even sorry! That can be infuriating. The truth is that you’ll lose when you let go. It’s crazy but it’s true.

You will absolutely lose…

…weight.

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. When we stay in a constant state of anger and frustration our bodies tense up. All of our energy is spent staying angry and as a result, our bodies can’t do anything else. Your body can’t lose weight, can’t make great decisions, etc. All because of the negative emotions you’re pumping it full of. I understand how hard it can be to forgive and forget but the truth is, it does far more harm to you than to anyone else.

Do you want to know what else you’ll lose when you let go? Anger. Isn’t that something you’d be okay losing? I pray it is. Sometimes it can feel like anger is protecting us but I can assure you that the opposite is true. Anger can cause a whole litany of issues in your body including inflammation and water retention. Crazy right? If you’ve been holding on to your anger and your extra weight, it might be time to let go and lose.

If weight loss is your top goal for 2020 then it’s time you checked out the video mini-series-
