Why So Moody

By Meggan Larson

Who needs hormone support? If your answer is everyone then you’re right! Hah! But seriously…a lot of health issues can be linked to hormone imbalance within your body. It’s no fun feeling sluggish, exhausted, foggy, etc. but if you don’t know what the issue is then how can you fix it? Your hormones are so vitally important to your overall wellness and even a slight imbalance can throw things off for you. Thankfully there are some pretty clear symptoms to figure out whether it’s a problem with estrogen or progesterone or even testosterone.

Here are a few clues…

Why So Moody

The absence of progesterone is our bodies can lead to headaches, hot flashes, memory problems, lack of follow through, miscarriage, etc. If you get a hormonal migraine every month like clockwork then your progesterone needs support!

Low estrogen levels are commonplace amongst women with female irregularity and/or unhealthy reproductive systems. Estradiol also plays an important part in bone health, energy levels, metabolism, libido, and emotional well being. If you’re suffering in any of those areas then your estrogen may be on the low side and need some support.

A testosterone imbalance can be linked to a reduction in libido. It can also be related to hair loss. If you have either of those issues then you may want to look at your testosterone levels.

Isn’t it amazing how much our hormones affect our day to day life? I’m always fascinated by it. I’ve been able to go from having monthly 3 day debilitating migraines to rarely getting them at all anymore. Just by balancing my hormones! Tomorrow night we are doing a free class online for anyone who would like to learn more about naturally supporting their hormones. We’d love to see you there! Join our class group here.

Meggan Larson is a wife, mom of three, and challenge overcomer! Being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and undergoing aggressive chemotherapy when her second born child was only three months old, gave Meggan an expected twist to her life. Dealing with pregnancy weight gain and the debilitating effects of chemotherapy, Meggan’s weight soared to over 228 pounds. Feeling humiliated with no desire to socialize, Meggan was desperate for a change. Shortly after losing 20 pounds with the Trim Healthy Mama program, Meggan found out she was pregnant with baby number three, which ended in an emergency C-section and unexpected hysterectomy. Despite the challenges she faced, Meggan has just celebrated her one year “trimiversary”, and her success of releasing just over 60 pounds! Meggan is confident that her success on plan is “doable” for anyone looking to gain back their health and wanting to live a trim and healthy lifestyle!
