What’s Your Plan?

What’s Your Plan?

By Meggan Larson

Christmas is over and New Year’s is almost here so what’s your plan? Do you have a resolution to lose more weight? Or any weight? 😉 2015 is over and 2016 can be the year that you finally reach your goal weight, if you choose to.

So how can you do it? Simple…

Plan to…

Identify your weaknesses and counter them. Are you a sugar feign like me? Then make your favorite on plan recipes in bulk and make sure they’re in the fridge or freezer for when you’re about to break. Do you cave when you’re starving and haven’t planned a snack? Keep a quest bar in your purse for such moments. Make a meal plan and stick to it. Read books like Made to Crave to find out the real reasons that you overeat. Do what you need to do in order to make 2016 your year. Haven’t we made poor decisions for long enough? Haven’t we let enough years go by packing on the pounds and letting depression set in? We need to advocate for ourselves. We’re the best at it! Stop reading all of the success stories and scrolling quickly by because they make you sad about where you’re not at. Instead, let’s create our own success story and be the ones at the end of 2016 that are saying “this was me a year ago and this is me today and I can’t believe how far I’ve come!” Decide on your goals, write them down, and get on track to achieve them. Put the scale away if it’s a hindrance to you and do what you need to do in order to get where you want to go. The path to your success is going to be up and down and there will likely be times that you fall flat on your face. The key to succeeding is to get back up when you fall down.

If you want some help with accountability and a small group to spur each other on, share our successes, and be real about our stumbling blocks please feel free to join me in this 2016 adventure on Facebook right here.

Let’s make 2016 the year that we did it. Let’s make it the year that we finally kicked every excuse to the curb and stuck to our plan to get to where we want to be. There’s no momentum like the momentum of the beginning of the year so let’s use that to propel us into victory!

I believe in you, now it’s your turn.

Being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and undergoing aggressive chemotherapy when her second born child was only three months old, gave Meggan an expected twist to her life. Dealing with pregnancy weight gain and the debilitating effects of chemotherapy, Meggan’s weight soared to over 228 pounds. Feeling humiliated with no desire to socialize, Meggan was desperate for a change. Shortly after losing 20 pounds with the Trim Healthy Mama program, Meggan found out she was pregnant with baby number three, which ended in an emergency C-section and unexpected hysterectomy. Despite the challenges she faced, Meggan has just celebrated her one year “trimiversary”, and her success of releasing just over 60 pounds! Meggan is confident that her success on plan is “doable” for anyone looking to gain back their health and wanting to live a trim and healthy lifestyle!
