Trim Healthy Mama-Sweet Potato Fries have to be one of our favorite go to ‘E’ meals! When you have a snack attack and your craving a hand to mouth kinda dish, whip up this easy batch of fries that offer a salty and sweet treat the whole family will gobble down in the blink of an eye!

Also a great side to go with Loaded Fotato Soup! (as long as you leave off the ‘S’ toppers!) You will stay in ‘E’ mode!

Check Out the recipe Below!

Trim Healthy Mama-Sweet Potato Fries (E)

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Oil
  • 5 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch long slices, then 1/4-wide inch strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • sea salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Brush room temperature coconut oil on the sliced sweet potatoes
  4. Sprinkle with House Seasoning and paprika.
  5. Spread sweet potatoes in single layer on prepared baking sheet, being sure not to overcrowd.
  6. Bake until sweet potatoes are tender and golden brown, turning occasionally, about 20 minutes.
  7. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving…if you can keep the family away from the scrumptious smell!

Enjoy!

Is 1 tsp. of coconut oil enough to cover each serving?

With 5 sweet potatoes, I would think you could use 1 tsp. of oil per potato? Then it would stay in E range. One could only eat the equivalent of one potato. You might want to add the amount of oil to use though… if you don’t it’s not an E meal and not THM at all.

If they add too much oil, it would be a crossover, still trim healthy mama just not conducive to weight loss.

Yes that’s true Amber. 1tsp per serving keeps it in E mode. 🙂

Hi, I clicked on your post to get the Strawberry Lemon Muffins recipe, but the THM Sweet Potatoe Fries is all that comes up. I’m happy to have that recipe, but would live the muffin recipe, as well. Thanks.

Hi Ceci! It’s just salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

      Hope that helps!
