“Hi, I haven’t posted before, but have been doing THM since the beginning of January. A dear friend recommended this book and I can’t thank her enough! My entire family has enjoyed the healthy benefits of eating this way. I have been holding a steady 30lb weight loss for a couple of weeks now and that’s about 8lbs PAST my goal weight! In fact, I now weigh less than I ever did in high school, and my size 9s are loose! My hubby, bless his heart, said I shouldn’t lose any more weight and should eat more CROSSOVERS! Evidently, he has been paying attention to the plan! I just can’t say enough good things about this lifestyle. Also, I shared my “secret” with 2 complete strangers today! I couldn’t resist telling them ALL about THM” Check Out the Trim Healthy Mama website here and be sure and like them over on Facebook! 5. […] Whatever the circumstances (mysterious or not), or whatever the diet or eating plan or healthy lifestyle you are a part of, cheating can throw you seriously off track. But don’t beat yourself up! I think it’s more important to occasionally eat something that’s not necessarily the best for me than to hurt my kids’ feelings when they’ve worked hard on a special meal. Of course, I could easily turn that into an excuse to eat badly all the time, but on a rare occasion it’s not that bad, and it’s easier than you would think to get back on track! I have tried the skinny chocolate and it is bitter to me. is there anything I can do to make it not be bitter?

    • laundrymoms says:

Yes! You can try using raw chocolate powder instead of cocoa. It’s called Raw Cacao and it’s so much more milk chocolatey. It’s also a superfood. I really dislike regular cocoa but this has made the difference for me. Hope that helps!

So can I use cacao instead of the baking cocoa?

    • laundrymoms says:

I’m not sure what the difference is? You can use any kind of powdered cocoa.
