Time for a Health Check
By Meggan Larson
I know I’ve talked about hormones more than usual lately but this is SO important! I had no idea how important hormone health was before. I lived with crippling monthly migraines for 20 years and could literally predict when they would start and precisely how long they’d last (72 hours EXACTLY). I had many tests done over the years, MRI’s, CT scans, etc and nothing wrong was ever found. My biological mother, and grandmother both experienced the same thing until they hit menopause. I mean that’s no way to live y’all!
Once I understood the importance of balancing my hormones, it changed everything…
I no longer suffer from these crippling migraines anymore. I still get a migraine occasionally, but it doesn’t last for nearly as long nor is it even close to as painful. After 20 years of suffering, I finally have relief. Thank you, Jesus!
Also, I had no idea that hormones had been affecting my weight. Ummn excuse me? Anything that affects my weight gets my attention immediately. Anyone else? When you’re stuck in your weight loss or going backward (nooooo!) then in my experience it’s one of two things: emotions, or hormones. Your endocrine system takes care of all the hormones in your body and if it’s not functioning optimally, you’re going to run into problems. A sluggish thyroid, slow metabolism, the tire of fat around your middle ~ these are all symptoms of unhappy hormones. The good news is, there are some easy and natural ways you can fix that.
To learn more about hormones and what you can do to get them working FOR you instead of against you, feel free to join us for our How To Have Happy Hormones class happening on Facebook tomorrow night at 7:30pm CST. I’d love to see you there! Join our class group here.
