The Winter Skin Blues

 The Winter Skin Blues

By Terri Bonin

Who else gets dry skin in the winter? The air just seems to be SO dry! And cold, let’s not forget cold. This is the time of year that extra moisturizing is a definite must. Whether it’s your face, hands, feet, whatever it is you need to get yourself a good moisturizer.

That’s where I come in friend…

I’ve been using Young Living products for over ten years now if you can believe it! I get complimented on my skin all the time. I have eleven children (yes, 11 that’s not a typo!), and have gone through all sorts of skin phases from dry to oily. I find winter to be the driest of the year. It seems like the moisture gets sucked right out of the atmosphere along with the heat leaving us in frigid tundra (even if you do live in Texas. I need HEAT y’all!).

So naturally I’ve tried many many products over the years and there is a reason that I’ve stuck to Young Living. They have a few different skin care products that are AMAZING to nourish and moisturize my skin.

The Art skincare line has an intensive moisturizer for those of you whose skin has lost most of its moisture. It gently restores that balance in your skin and leaves it looking radiant and youthful. Coconut Lime replenishing body butter does exactly what the name suggests. It replenishes your skin and smells soooo delicious. It’s definitely one I try not to run out of, as well as the lip balm. We keep a stock on hand at all times!

Lavender hand and body lotion is a less intensive but equally nourishing moisturizer that’s infused with lavender essential oil. It’s good all year round but I definitely like to have it in the winter months. There are a couple other hand and body lotions but the last one I want to mention is the Rose Ointment. The name itself suggests a more intensive kind of care and that would be a good assumption. The rose ointment is a great product to help repair and restore skin that’s needing a little extra attention.

Whatever your skin needs, I know that Young Living has what you’re looking for. They are always coming out with the most amazing new things and I know for sure that I’ll be a customer for life!

I love young living and so thankful to have been brought to their attention! Rose ointment has made a HUGE difference with dry skin in certain areas and then I apply the coconut body butter to my face and added lavender, little frank and tea tree to continue to help and keep the moisture! 💜
