Top 10 Tips for Results on THM

Since I was a little hard on those of you who ask the latest success story for their menus, advice, and tips, I thought I would give you mine. I understand how frustrating it can be to be stuck at a weight you don’t want to be at. I know how it feels to think you’re doing everything right and still not seeing the scale move down. Before I give you my tips though, please understand that what works for me may not work for you, BUT, if you keep experimenting with the plan you will eventually figure out what the sweet spot is for your weight loss.

So without further adieu, here are my top ten THM tips…

#1 ~ Switch up your fuels. Yes I realize that’s the entire plan in a nutshell but if you’re anything like me you really like the fatty S meals and tend to stick to mostly those (if not all). It’s important to keep your body guessing so you can’t get into a rut of only S meals. No matter how delicious they are.

#2 ~ Keep it simple. What I mean by this is try not to focus on making the most extravagant recipes you can all the time. A really delicious and slimming meal can be a salad with a can of tuna dumped on top and a nice dressing. You don’t have to make cheeseburger pie with wedding berry cheesecake every night. Keeping it simple is key to longevity with THM. If you make it too complicated too often then you’ll eventually lose steam.

#3 ~ Eat your veggies. Do your best to have veggies with every meal. They help keep you full, are free calories, and can be really yummy prepared correctly. I love bacon and eggs as much as the next person, but saving that for weekends and eating eggs with sautéed spinach or fried zucchini more often during the week will go a long way to get those pounds moving in the right direction.

#4 ~ Get that coconut oil in! Coconut oil and MCT oil are incredible at boosting your metabolism. Getting a regular dose of each of those will help fire up that metabolism and melt those extra pounds away.

#5 ~ Cut out the mindless snacking. If you’re one who normally grazes all day long, you’ve gotta cut that out. Grazing doesn’t allow your body time to burn off the fuel from what you’re eating and therefore it’s stopping you from losing weight because your body is constantly burning off fuel and never has a chance to burn off your extra fat stores. Start experimenting with drinks that you like to keep yourself occupied since we both know you’re not really hungry. 😉
