Sticking to the Plan

New Year’s Eve is coming and with it comes our list of new year resolutions. Many of us will undoubtedly have weight loss on that list as we likely do every year. Between now and the New Year there is at going to be at least one holiday in Canada, two in America and that usually means overindulgence and eating off your plan. How many of you have resolved to really get on the plan on January 1st?

There is a big problem with this mindset and the problem is…

There is a lot of time between now and then! How many of us have said that we’ll get back on plan “tomorrow” which really translates into “I-can-eat-whatever-I-want-today-because-it’s-the-last-day-I-can-eat-like-this”. But for how many of us did tomorrow never come? How many of us found ourselves still eating whatever we wanted several weeks later? If we adopt the mindset that we’ll get on the plan in the new year then that will likely make us think that this is the very last holiday season that we’ll be able to eat however we want. We will super overindulge, gain way more weight than we normally would have, and most likely feel incredibly discouraged and unmotivated when the 1st comes.

Let’s do ourselves a favor and start right now. Who needs to wait for the new year to start eating healthier and make wiser choices? Get on plan NOW so that you won’t give yourself an excuse to overindulge. We’ve been setting you up with awesome on plan holiday recipes that are mouthwatering and delicious and will keep you on track like the pumpkin pie and we’ve even shown you how to make an on plan turkey with stuffing!

This year let the holiday season be joyous and not laced with regrets and extra weight. Imagine how much better you’ll feel about achieving your new year’s resolution when you’ve already lost a few pounds before the new year even began. Use the momentum from the end of 2020 to propel you into 2021 the right way!

Meggan Larson is a wife, mom of three, and challenge overcomer! Despite the challenges she faced Meggan has just celebrated her one year “trimiversary”, and her success of releasing just over 60 pounds! Meggan is confident that her success on plan is “doable” for anyone looking to gain back their health and wanting to live a trim and healthy lifestyle!
