Spring Cleaning Without the Yuck
By Terri Bonin
It’s Spring y’all! FINALLY!!! Who else is excited to open the windows and let some fresh air in? I love this time of year because I’m actually excited to clean. It’s so nice to freshen up the house with the clean scent of cleaning products but it’s important to know what’s in them. According to the American Lung Association, the ingredients in some household cleaning products can cause health problems from headaches to respiratory problems to cancer. Yikes!
You should kick the toxins out of your household cleaners by changing up what you’re using. I only use one cleaner to clean everything in my house. From the counters to the toilet to the floors and windows, one toxin free cleaner is all I need. Amazing right? Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner is a completely plant-based cleaner and is just as effective as bleach but without the harsh chemicals. When I’m cleaning with Thieves I don’t have to wear a mask or feel like I’m about to hack up a lung. It’s so safe that even my kids can use it which is great because I can put them to work! Haha
Seriously though, this cleaner is so good that I can even add some to my plants and they perk right up! I was shocked the first time I tried it. My hanging plant outside had practically petrified and I added a capful of the cleaner and watered it and the next morning it was a completely different plant! What do you think would happen if you put a capful of bleach in your plant? Exactly. What do you think it’s doing to YOU?!
It’s time to kick those toxins out and save money at the same time. A full bottle of the Thieves Household Cleaner is under $30 and is so concentrated that all you need is a capful for an entire glass spray bottle. That means it’ll last you for months and months and months. It was a no brainer for me and I hope it is for you too!
