Safe Cleaners = a Safe Home
by Terri Bonin

Have you ever been frustrated by all of the chemicals found in your cleaners? Or even the fact that you seem to need a different cleaner for every room in the house? It can be hard to know what to clean with these days especially if you have little ones around.

There is definitely a solution to that problem and that is…

Thieves Household Cleaner is an all-natural plant-based cleaner from Young Living that can literally clean your house from top to bottom (without chemicals!). A capful of cleaner in a glass spray bottle is all it takes to clean your home. I’ve just come across some pretty awesome bathroom hacks using this cleaner so I thought I would share what I’ve learned…

To clean out that gunk in your tub, mix a little thieves cleaner with some baking soda to make a thick paste and rub it all over your tub with a cloth. Let it sit for a few minutes and rinse.

To clean the toilet mix 1 cap of thieves cleaner with 1 cup of water and put it in a spray bottle. Spray all over the inside of the toilet bowl and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Scrub clean with the toilet brush and spray the rest of the toilet with the spray and wipe clean.

To clean that nasty trash can pour 1 to 2 capfuls of thieves cleaner into the bottom, fill with water, and let sit for several hours (let’s be honest, it probably needs it). Pour the water out and wipe dry and for added freshness, you can put 3 drops of Citrus Fresh essential oil on a cotton ball and place it on the bottom of the garbage can.

This is just the bathroom! Thieves cleaner can clean your kitchen, windows, floors, etc., and inhaling it is actually beneficial for your body instead of detrimental.

Here’s to your health in the New Year!
