I’m going through a purging kick right now. This week alone I’ve sold over $700 worth of stuff that was just sitting around my house not being used and taking up way too much space. And do you know what else I’ve purged? Some extra weight! It turns out that when you’re busy taking inventory of everything lying around your house that you clearly don’t need to snack all the time. When you’re working hard at packing things up, posting things online for sale, and giving stuff away, you’re basically exercising! 😉
A lot of people talk about how doing the Trim Healthy Mama plan can…
take up a lot of time trying to remember when to eat, how long it’s been since we last ate, what we should eat, etc. Sometimes we need to just take our mind off of trying to do this perfectly. Sometimes when we purge the excess stuff that we ALL have lying around, it helps us refocus. I don’t know about you, but when I’m surrounded by mountains of stuff I know I’m not using, it can get a little depressing. Ok, very depressing. It can tend to spiral a bit if you’re not careful. It starts to feel like every area of your life is out of control but if you can just get one aspect under control then it makes the rest seem doable. If you’re having a hard time figuring out how to stay on plan or what to eat or when to do it, try focusing on something else. If you’re feeling helpless or hopeless, pick another aspect of your life that you know for sure you can get a hold of (like clutter) and go for it.
At times we just need a reminder that we can succeed in a single area of our lives and it helps to change our perspective. And if you’re really that lost with THM, just send me an email and I would be happy to help you figure it out.

Meggan Larson is a wife, mom of three, and challenge overcomer! Diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and under going aggressive chemotherapy, when her second born child was only three months old, gave Meggan an expected twist to her life. Shortly after loosing 20 pounds with the Trim Healthy Mama program, Meggan found out she was pregnant with baby number three, that ended in an emergency C-section and unexpected hysterectomy. Despite the challenges she faced Meggan has just celebrated her one year “trimiversary”, and her success of releasing just over 60 pounds! Meggan is confident that her success on plan is “doable” for anyone looking to gain back their health and wanting to live a trim and healthy lifestyle!
