More Pep In Your Step

My first pregnancy felt relatively easy compared to my second. I’m not sure if it was because I had been through it before but I was so very emotional during my second pregnancy. I felt like I would be so happy then moments later so sad. I would be excited about the newest addition, then sad over how my relationship with my first daughter would change. I knew pregnancy hormones were playing a major part in this however I thought there must be something I could do to calm it down. While at a visit to my chiropractor, I mentioned my rollercoaster emotions and he recommended ylang ylang essential oil. However, it came with a warning that my libido could be increased! I laughed because I thought, “well, it’s not like I’m going to get pregnant again so no problems there”. Not only did it help to balance and calm my emotions, but it did exactly what I was warned about.
Ylang Ylang essential oil has a sweet, floral scent. This precious oil may support your circulatory system, increase libido, give you an energy boost, release tension and promote a general happy mood.
I found these testimonials to share with you. I love hearing about other people’s experiences with Young Living’s essential oils.
“When I’m not “in the mood”, it’s usually a done deal that I’m just going to sleep. Well, my hubby was in the mood, so I decided to just put on some the new oils that I got at the Young Living Convention.
I heard testimonies about how Idaho Blue Spruce helps with libido, so I put that on my wrists and rubbed it on my inner forearms. Then I got my Amazonian Ylang Ylang (from the new exotic kits) and put it on my wrists and lower abdomen. I got back into bed and hubby had resigned to “just snuggle”.
Well, within 5 minutes I suddenly was “in the mood”. Our time together was amazing. I was shocked at how quickly I changed. These oils are such a gift from God!”
“Hypertension runs in our family. I am only 50 and not overweight but have to take 80mg of a beta-blocker (Nadolol) and 20 mg Lisinopril.
I decided it’s time to lessen the dosage so after research I purchased Cypress oil and Ylang Ylang. I cut my meds in half and rubbed in both oils on my left palm of my hand and just below the right ball of my foot (Vita Flex areas that touch the heart – see chart on p. 35 of the Quick Reference Guide for Using Essential Oils). It was maintaining my blood pressure nicely. Some might say well maybe it wasn’t the oil helping. Maybe you could have halved your meds and would have been fine. That leads me to what happened next.
One night I forgot to put the oils on. My blood pressure shot up and the unusual feeling of stress I felt while sleeping woke me up. It was 2 a.m. and I did not want to take the other half of my meds. So instead I decided to rub in the Cypress and Ylang Ylang oils and then I also put Lavender on the palms of both hands.
I layed down and relaxed and cupped my hands over my nose and inhaled slowly in and out 3 times. After 15 minutes I was fast asleep. When I awoke at 6:20 am, my blood pressure was normal!”
In our world where there is so much stress and busyness, ylang ylang essential oil may help us to cheer up, take a few deep breaths, calm down and feel energized. Our lives are so convenient due to technology but for me it creates added stress with overstimulation. All the screens everywhere! When I turn technology off and diffuse my favorite oils like ylang ylang, I feel rejuvenated. I encourage you to do the same today.
