Love Yourself to Health
By Terri Bonin
It’s time y’all. It’s time to show your body how much you care. There’s no one else in the world you spend more time with (obviously). There’s no one else who knows you as well as you do. Your body has carried you through every trial and tribulation you’ve ever gone through and it’s time to love it right back.
The best way to do that is to…
…love yourself to health. What does that look like? It can look like many different things and take form in many different ways. Being diligent with taking supplements that bring nourishment to your body is a way to love yourself. Walking regularly even when you don’t feel like it is a form of loving yourself. Washing your face morning and night and establishing a morning and bedtime routine is a form of loving yourself. I know you know what I mean when I talk about being stuck in a depressing rut. The weeks when you barely change your clothes, don’t put a bra on, don’t shower or wash your face, and generally feel like garbage. The times when all your little heart desires is to sleep for a week until you feel more like yourself again.
It’s so important not to get stuck in that mindset. Establishing healthy routines can help lift you out of those funks by just following your regular habits. Making health a habit is making yourself a priority and that is just so necessary in this day and age don’t you think? Even if you just start small with a single healthy change each day. Wash your face for a week day and night and see how you feel. Take a supplement you know your body needs for a month and look back at how you’re feeling afterwards.
It’s time mama. It’s time to love yourself to health.
