Life Hacks For The Win!
By Terri Bonin
What in the world is a life hack? It’s defined as “a strategy or technique adopted in order to manage one’s time and daily activities in a more efficient way.” Sounds amazing to me! As a homeschooling mama, I am always looking for easy “life hacks” to adopt in my routine. I came across some great hacks and just had to tell you about them…
Y’all know I’m a huge fan of Young Living because they have literally everything I need to run my household on a daily basis. I had a particularly dirty tub last week and all the scrubbing in the world didn’t seem to be getting rid of it. I made a paste using one capful of thieves household cleaner, 2-3 drops of lemon essential oil, and a couple of tablespoons of baking soda. It was magical y’all, truly magical. It rubbed that scum away like it was NOTHING! I could hardly believe it.
Plus, we had leftovers for dinner and I happened to run out of my thieves dishwasher detergent so I popped a capful of the famous Thieves household cleaner in the dishwasher and everything came out sparkling! That’s one of the amazing things about the Thieves cleaner. You can use it to clean your toilets AND your dishes!
Another thing I’ve recently started doing is putting a couple of drops of oil (like lemon or purification) on a cotton ball and putting it into the vent in my bathrooms. It makes the whole bathroom smell heavenly! As opposed to the opposite smell if you get my drift. It’s such a simple way to freshen a room. You can even do the same thing with your garbage can! Hello, fresh smelling trash can!
There are so many tips and tricks you can use to make your life easier and more pleasant. It would take me all day to write about them all so we decided to do a class! Tonight on Facebook at 7:30 pm CST we will be sharing even more life hack tips with you so come and join us here!
