Let the Octoberfest Begin
by Terri Bonin
Aaawwhhh October! Soups, sweaters, scarves and outdoor weather…I. LOVE. THIS. MONTH! A new season reminds me it’s time to create the mood and special memories with wonderful fall smells and treats that my family will love! Hehe…little do they realize I am also boosting their immune systems, and supporting their overall health by diffusing precious essential oils in the air and adding them to our favorite yummy deliciousness in a mug! I’ve shared some of my favorite diffuser recipes for fall below along with one of our favorite health beverages your family will love!
You can almost smell the pumpkin pie, fall leaves, and apple cider below…
- 3 Quarts Apple Cider
- 5 Drops Clove Oil
- 8 Drops Orange Oil
- 2 Drops Nutmeg Oil
- 2 Drops Lemon Oil
- 3 Drops Cinnamon Bark Oil
Allow simmering for at least 1/2 hour, stirring often. 2 hour simmer time recommended for full infusion of flavors. *NOTE- For therapeutic use do NOT heat the oils…just add before serving.
