Who hasn’t had a stressful day, received terrible news, miserably failed at something they thought they’d be great at, etc and gone straight for the pint of ice cream in the freezer? And I don’t mean Halo Top. Who else struggles with emotional eating whether the emotion is good or bad? This has been my struggle for SO long it’s hard to remember a time when I didn’t battle with it. In the last while though I haven’t been struggling with it nearly as much. In fact, I’ve been on plan 100% for weeks and weeks now with the exception of a couple of planned off plan treats. So how have I done it?

No, things haven’t changed in my immediate situation. I still have three children aged 7, 5, and 3 and my boys have been fighting like cats and dogs lately. My three-year-old is constantly getting into things he shouldn’t, I can’t even pee without something insanely frustrating happening. I’ll tell you what’s been working for me but full disclosure here ~ I’m going to promote a product. Yes, yes I am because it WORKS and I use it multiple times a day to keep me on track. When I’ve had such a bad day that I feel like I could punch a hole through the wall I walk over to the kitchen and breathe in some “Stress Away”. When I feel super hungry between meals but there’s no good reason why I feel that way I add some grapefruit oil to my water and drink it up. Lemon improves my mood and focus, peppermint makes me feel like I just brushed my teeth so I don’t eat junk, etc. Most of these come in the Young Living starter kit which comes with 11 oils, a diffuser, antioxidant supplements, etc. for $160 USD.
