How to Feel Your Best During Pregnancy

Although I’ve been pregnant twelve times, (YES…you read that right!), and even though it’s been a few years, I still remember it vividly! The joy of feeling my sweet baby bump in my womb, and the excitement of knowing how much I’d love that baby immediately upon meeting this precious little bundle, always makes me giddy. I also remember other things that come along with pregnancy quite vividly and,if I’m being completely honest, it’s with less joy and excitement!

I remember the…

…aches and the pains of pregnancy. The frustration of not knowing what was safe to take during it, and balancing wanting to ease my discomfort while keeping my baby safe at the same time. A headache isn’t just a headache when you’re pregnant. There are a lot of things to think about and consider carefully before swallowing a pill or even rubbing an ointment on. The joy of pregnancy can be easily matched with the discomfort of pregnancy, but there are certainly a lot of options these days for which I am eternally grateful.

I have done pregnancy with and without Young Living and I’ll let you guess which way I prefer. When I need to relax during pregnancy I get my hubby to give me a massage using the Relaxation Massage Oil. I feel like a million bucks afterward! I know that it’s so important to drink water (all the time but especially during pregnancy) so I appreciate having the Young Living Vitality line of essential oils that I can add to my water to keep it interesting. Lemon and lime go a long way for me! You can add peace and calming to your nighttime routine to help you relax enough to get some much-needed rest. Use Thieves laundry soap to get everything washed and ready knowing that it’s chemical free! And finally, if your feet are sore give them a soak with warm water, Epsom salt, copaiba, and lavender essential oils to help de-stress.
