Hitting Your Goal Weight

Hitting Your Goal Weight

by Meggan Larson

I see you. You’re the one who has been enthusiastically cheering your friends on as they lose weight, while you cry in secret because you’ve just been gaining. I see you. You’re the one who has been cramming junk food into your mouth while no one is looking because you don’t want to see their disapproving gaze but you just can’t seem to stop. I see you. You’re the one who has no hope left because you’ve lost and gained the same pounds over and over and you are starting to think that you will always struggle with this; maybe because you always have.

I want to tell you something…

It’s going to happen. You ARE going to get to your goal weight no matter how long it takes you because you’re going to find the answers you’ve so desperately searching for! You might be wondering how I can write this so confidently and that’s valid. I see you because I was you. When you look in the mirror you may as well have been looking at a reflection of me instead. Something has changed for me and in me recently and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am going to reach my goal and I am already well on my way losing an average of 2lbs/week (sometimes 4 or 5 pounds). Have I changed the way I was eating? No, not really. The change that happened has been on the inside. I had to find my root issues. I had to forgive myself for the weight I had gained. I had to learn to love myself exactly as I was in order to let myself get to where I want to be. This has been a journey but there is definitely something that has impacted me so deeply that now I direct others to get the freedom they so desperately need. If you’d like to join us for the next Mini-Video Series inside the private Facebook group, “Release the Weight from the Inside Out“, it’s starting soon!

I know the shame that surrounds carrying extra weight. I know the burden of not wanting to go outside of your house and crying while you get dressed for a special occasion because nothing hides the rolls. I know the pain and defeat of losing all hope that it will ever change. I see you. Take a good look in the mirror because everything is about to change.
