God Has a Way Out

God Has a Way Out

by Diana Scothorn

When adversity comes knocking at our door, just know God’s word has a way out.

I have found there is not one thing we may go through as individuals, or a nation, that God’s word will not instruct us what to do. The Bible says that when adversity comes, we will not be moved, and our eyes will have the understanding to see the truth, and our ears will hear! We will be able to see in our hearts and hear in our spirit what to do and when to move!

We’ll be able to have confidence God knows all things! Nothing is too big or small for God! It makes no difference to Him, if you need to lose 20 lbs, or you need $20,000, the same God has a way in and out of every problem. Psalms 112:6-7 says, “Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.” When our heart is fixed, trusting Him, we’re fastened securely in our place.

I have learned in times of adversity…

…it’s wisdom to run towards God before we run into the trap the devil has set before us. Adversity is nothing more than something in our life that presents an unfavorable condition. Psalms 5:12 says, Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

The good news, God’s favor is for life. God’s Favor is not based on our unfavorable conditions, but His unconditional love. Satan uses adversity to cause weakness, so we’ll not have the strength to fulfill God’s purpose, but God’s word gives us strength! God’s word is powerful and mighty, and God’s word is powerful and effective. (Hebrews 4:12)

The Bible says a man of strength increased in the knowledge because God’s word isnHis wisdom and provides the answer to our adversity. It gives us a strategic plan to get out of every problem we’ve encountered, and it goes on to say if we consent to adversity, our strength is small. Strength is not done during good times; it’s measured during adverse times.

I’ve learned when adversity comes; it’s wisdom to not run from our problem but run to our answer, and God’s word has final authority and will override anything the devil throws our way. Adversity may make an entrance, but God’s word will make an exit! Greater is He that’s in you than he that is in the world! When we are weak, God’s word in us will make us strong!

Don’t give up! Remember to run to Him!
