Fun in the Sun SPF
By Terri Bonin
The summer is finally here! Beach days are upon us with lots of swimming, playing, and spending hours and hours in the sun. I absolutely love the sun but what I don’t love is having to slather my kids with toxic sunscreen. Most of the chemicals in sunscreen seem like made up words and there are a lot of people questioning whether it’s the sun giving people cancer or the sunscreen they’re using to protect themselves from the sun in the first place. I have never felt too comfortable with sunscreen but what other choice did I have? I’m a mama and I want to protect my littles as best I can.
That’s why I was so excited when…
Young Living came out with a sunscreen last year! How exciting to finally have something completely plant-based that is also effective at preventing sunburns. The only option they had at the time was 10SPF which to me was much better than nothing and certainly better than the alternative of slathering ourselves with chemical-laden sunscreens. Last week at Young Living’s 2018 Convention they released a new sunscreen that is SPF50!!!
So for those who burn easily or those who are like my friend Meggan who never used to burn but does after undergoing chemotherapy, there is a plant-based chemical-free sunscreen option for you! This sunscreen is recommended by the skin cancer foundation to use daily to reduce the risk of cancer. I don’t know of any other plant-based sunscreens that are recommended to protect against cancer. Actually, I don’t know of any other purely plant-based sunscreens!
Tonight we are doing a live class on Facebook where we will be sharing about the brand new products that were just launched at Convention. We have some great things in store for you and even a thank you gift just for coming! Click here to join and let us introduce you to your new lifestyle.
