“Holly on Hollywood”
by Holly McClure
“Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation” is the latest jaw-dropping, action, stunt filled adventure starring Tom Cruise, who does what he does best, playing super spy Ethan Hunt. Ethan and his dependable team of Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, and Simon Pegg, are fun to watch as they work together to hunt down a group of super terrorists, committed to destroying the IMF. Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson also star.
This exciting, over-the-top, intense action adventure, opens in high gear and never lets up until the last surprise! There are lots of comedic undertones that make Ethan more human and create a lighter, funnier tone, amidst the exhausting and incredible scenes that build suspense with clockwork timing and precision action.
The PG-13 is for lots of intense action, violence, some romantic scenes and brief partial nudity, so parents, please heed the rating – this is not a kids movie! This mission, if you choose to accept, is for teens to adults who want an exciting, enormously entertaining, perfect popcorn movie to escape to, and one that proves Tom Cruise is truly an action movie star!
