DIY Gift Ideas

By Terri Bonin

With Thanksgiving this week, y’all know that Christmas is right around the corner! I love this season of giving and sharing, loving and caring. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Something a little less wonderful about the holidays though is going into debt to give gifts to everyone! It’s tough because, on one hand, you want to bless everyone you know with some sort of gift to say I love you, but on the other hand, it gets expensive really fast when you’re buying for so many people.

That’s why…

I decided to share some great DIY ideas with you in order to make your dollar stretch but still provide awesome gifts to your loved ones. For the men in your life make them a relief roller. All you need is a roller bottle, V-6 or fractionated coconut oil, and 5-10 drops each of Peppermint and PanAway Young Living essential oils. They can use this to relieve stress, muscle, and joint stiffness, etc. Plus…it smells really good!

Next up is for the ladies in your life! If they are the kind of person who likes to soak in a tub check out these amazing bath bombs! Aren’t they gorgeous?? Pair that with an inexpensive lip balm from Young Living and you’ve got yourself a perfect gift. If the kids you know are anything like mine then they love having their own little mini roller bottle. Make up a blend of Lemon, Thieves, and Raven (or R.C. in Canada) with V-6 or fractionated coconut oil and improve their focus, support their immune system, and help them breathe easier all in a fun little roller just for them. They can roll it on their feet and chest anytime they want.

You can also pick up very inexpensive clay ornaments from a dollar store and add a couple of drops of oil to it (Peppermint and Stress Away together smell like a candy cane). It will smell nice and is a simple way to bless someone.

I absolutely love this season and what I love even more is being able to bless everyone in my life with a small token of appreciation and love while sharing the gift of wellness with them. All of the oils I’ve talked about come in the Young Living premium starter kit which is only $160USD. You can bless everyone on your list plus have a diffuser just for you and lots and lots of oils to finish of the year strong. Order it here!
