Cleaning Your House from the Inside Out-Part 2

Last week you learned about my adoration of the Thieves Essential Oil blend and it’s amazing ability to boost the immune system. This week let’s talk about our other favorite healthy cleaning products that include Thieves essential oil blend and will keep you and your house super clean.

…so many awesome products for cleaning and health. I will share a couple of my favorite Thieves products. The first product I couldn’t live without is the Thieves Household Cleaner. I literally use it to clean every surface in my house! No more 46 different cleaners full of toxic chemicals, now it’s just the one concentrated bottle that I dilute for the different cleaning purposes. Plus it’s more cost effective because I only buy one concentrated bottle and dilute it for so many things. I won’t bore you with dilution ratios here, but they are included in the free PDF on The Drops of Joy that also covers the toxic chemicals lurking in common cleaners.
I love to cook and we are serious about our food. One of the Southern cooking skills I have yet to master is fried chicken, but I keep trying and as a result I continue to cover my stove top in grease splatter. Other natural cleaners I’ve tried left it streaky and still a bit greasy, however not Thieves Household Cleaner. I was so happy the day I destroyed the stove with grease and tested the Thieves Household Cleaner. My stove was so clean and not streaky at all. I might have done a little dance right then.
The other unexpected aha moment with Thieves Household Cleaner was using it as a stain remover. My two-year-old daughter Grace loves spaghetti and as a result whatever she is wearing is splattered with tomato sauce. Stain removal is not one of my strong points, however I sprayed Thieves Household Cleaner on the spot then rubbed it under water and it all came out!
I am so happy knowing that my windows, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, clothes and so on are all clean, disinfected and non-toxic. With two little girls crawling/running around the house, I feel confident and happy knowing they aren’t being exposed to nasty chemicals.
Another Thieves product that we love, especially my husband, is the Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash. I’ve never liked mouthwash and didn’t use it, but I’m now hooked on Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash because it doesn’t have that alcohol burn like so many others. It is delicious tasting and full of essential oils to help your oral health. My gums used to bleed when I flossed and usually when I went to the dentist they would tell me some areas of my gums were concerning. However after using the mouthwash for almost a year, the hygienist commented on how my gums looked good. Plus, my gums don’t bleed when I floss now. Hooray! My husband loves the mouthwash so much he swallows it as he doesn’t want to waste a drop.
The last product I want to share in the Thieves line is the Thieves Spray. It is a small spray bottle that fits perfectly in a purse or even a pocket and I spray it on many things to disinfect when out in public. I also use it as a mouth freshener although it is super strong and shocking the first time.
Have you ever taken a two-year-old to go potty in a public restroom? It’s horrifying, they touch everything! You just don’t know what gross little germs are living on the toilet seat, doors, floors or any other place she touches. So I spray Thieves everywhere! If someone walks in after us, they probably think there is some wonderful air freshener. I spray it on the toilet seat, door handle, etc. We also use it on our hands if the bathroom is just too dirty to even try to get her close enough to the sink to wash them. When traveling by plane, I’ve sprayed the seat back tray, the arm rests, the pillow, basically anywhere I think we need a little disinfectant. Again, the added bonus is you fog the area with the delicious smell of Thieves.
There are so many more Thieves products but I just can’t cover them all here so I’ll name a few more – automatic dishwasher powder, laundry soap, fruit & veggie soak, laundry detergent, wipes, hand sanitizer.
