Boost Your Health, Drop Your Fear
By Angela Rose
Yikes, panic is setting in all over the world. Can you feel it? Toilet paper is the new currency and hand sanitizer is worth its weight in gold. The media is blowing up, people are sharing misinformation faster than the virus itself is spreading, and I’m just waiting for it to blow over.
Here’s the thing friend…
…fear destroys your immune system. Yes, these are serious times but panicking over it is only going to lower your immune system which is the LAST thing anyone needs right now. There are things you can do to make sure your family is in the best position to stay well and they are relatively simple.
First, stay home. I realize that some who are in health care etc can’t do that but the rest of us CAN. Let’s focus on what we can do instead of what we can’t. Second, wash your hands all the time. About to eat? Wash your hands. Finished eating? Wash your hands, etc. Soap and water is best but if you’re out (though I’m hoping you aren’t) use a good hand sanitizer ~ preferably one that is moisturizing (I can recommend a really great one). Third, eat good nourishing food. I’m seeing all these people stocking up on pasta and rice but y’all, the grocery stores are still open! Get fresh veggies and fruit and real food. Hopefully the panic buying is over for the most part and you can grab these things during off peak hours. Another tip ~ see if your grocery store has online shopping where you can place your order, pay, and then they load it into your trunk at a designated time. This will limit your exposure to other people too.
Friends, it’s not time to panic but it is time to be wise. That’s why I’m hosting a 28 day challenge starting on April 6th called The Healthy Home Challenge ~ Panicked to Prepared and I would love for you to jump in with me. This challenge is going to help calm your nerves, prep your house the best you can, and give you the tools you need to be as prepared as possible. For all the details click here!
If you’d like me to pray with you please reach out! We’ll get through this together.
