Being All In With Your Health

Sometimes the days feel monotonous and it can be easy to get stuck in that mindset. You wonder to yourself how long you’ll have to continue taking supplements or adding MCT oil to your coffee or eating right. It’s easier to eat what’s cheap, not exercise, and go to fast food restaurants because they’re everywhere. We live in a society that demands instant gratification and it’s far too easy to get sucked into that life. I think we all know what comes with that life though…

Being All In With Your Health

…the opposite of health.

It’s time to take the high road instead of the easy one. It’s time to be all in with our health because we owe it not only to ourselves but to our future generations as well. Ensuring that we’re eating well, taking supplements to support our internal organs, getting some exercise in a few times per week (at least), and reducing or eliminating the toxins in our homes will all add up to a healthy life.

There are no guarantees in life of course, but all we can control is our actions. Even if we aren’t seeing results on the scale, we know that our lifestyle is a much healthier one than the alternative. And sometimes progress is slow. Painstakingly, agonizingly, slow. We can’t see what’s going on internally within our bodies. Sometimes the hold up is simply the fact that our bodies are healing from the inside out. That’s a process, it takes as long as it takes.

I know people who have been doing THM for years and are nowhere near their goal weight. Is that because the plan doesn’t work? Not at all. It’s because they needed their bodies to heal internally and they are. If they gave up and went back to a lifestyle of fast food and no exercise then they’d be so much worse off than they are now. It’s hard to see that in the moment but we have to push through. Our bodies ARE healing, they may just need a little more time.
