Action Kills Fear!

Starting something new can be intimidating. Whether it’s a new job, an exercise program, an eating plan, climbing a mountain…it can be tough to do something you’ve never attempted to do before and often you will find yourself at the bottom of a massive hill frozen in fear of the unknown or unsure if you have what it takes to make it to the top.

That’s when you need to realize…

Action Kills Fear!

The old cliché is true. The way to win any race is one step at a time and the way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. Sure it looks massive and impossible but it’s totally doable. Instead of looking up at the mountain trembling in fear, start walking towards it! I’ve often been told that action cures fear and it is 100% true. So true in fact that lately, I’ve spent a lot less time thinking and a lot more time just doing. If I’m scared to ask someone to one of my business Facebook parties I just hit send before I can think myself out of it. If I’m not sure that I’ll see an entire workout program through to the end I just hit play and start it anyway. Overthinking is completely overrated and

Overthinking is completely overrated and lately, I’ve come across many people who are frozen in fear when it comes to Trim Healthy Mama. Either they are brand new and just don’t know where to start, or they have started and stopped and need to get back on that horse again. Whatever the reason they are currently standing at the bottom of their mountain and aren’t taking a step forward. They keep thinking of all the different ways that they might fail or mess it up but let’s get one thing straight. You are definitely going to mess this up. There, feel better? 😉 Seriously though, everyone has made huge mistakes when it comes to THM. Heck, I gained 10lbs my very first month on plan because I didn’t understand what I was doing and ate mostly crossovers for the entire month. Read as much as you can about the plan for sure. But in the end, you need to just take a deep breath, turn on some good tunes, and start walking.
